I have stumbleupon, and I think my life would be alot duller if i didn't have the magnificent little toolbar :) Especially when I am bored. I do love the old stumbleupon. I don't really have much to write today. I finally got blood test results back. Im just anaemic. Well I say just but I'll be honest I am struggling with the whole sorting it out situation. Because I just don't do well at the old feeding myself malarky. I dunno I just get lazy, and I can never find anything yummy to eat.

I have an awful cold tonight too, and horrible dry skin on my nosey. I probably look rank, but I don't mind too much :)

New Needles!

I finally got around to buying the needles that I have been needing for MONTHS now. I am extremely happy with myself. But I have also just realised that I have made and extremely huge faux pas on my account. So you know the darts cabinet-cum-jewellery cabinet, I keep asking to go to b&q, wickes, focus, homebase etc. And yesterday we happened to land rigggght by one.
So I was all "ohh ohhh ohhh" and upon asking my grandparents if we could just nip in there quick I was told a no, and we drove off.

Anyway I'm sat waiting for the post and I was thinking about what website next, and it dawned on me....Homebase, Focus, Wickes, B&Q etc .com.............

DOUBLE UNIMPRESSED.

How could I have been this stupid. But never mind. I know now :)

Off to Reading tomoz, to play a few hours of darties :)

An Update

Hi everyone...

Im playing at sitting duck at the minute...

I think the pleurisy has gone now. but im not certain. I don't hurt to breathe anymore. But there is a major coughing thing going down :(

My darts team won 6-2 on Wednesday... Very proud of them as it was the first win of the season, and my first ever win as a captain. So it was really good. I look forward to lots more of these :) Thank you guys, Mr Amie-Dillo sorry you couldn't be there!

My blood test results are back at the surgery after only 3 days of having the test, and of course the receptionist is only allowed to tell you if there is a doctors note on it...There was. It said "sending patient a letter".

The darts cabinet it looking more and more cream now, but it is taking ages to have to paint over and over and over. But I am enjoying the challenge :)

Has anybody got anything new going on at the minute??

I have a cool way of making necklaces/bracelets or earring and was wondering if a tute for those was in order?

A Darts Cabinet is no longer.

Okay I have all this jewellery, and no where to really put it all where I can still see it easily. So when I had a 12 Hour Darts Marathon, and a darts cabinet was one of the prizes I started to want the cabinet, and when at the end of the night it was still there (my friend donated it and I knew he didnt want it back) I took it home.

So my plan was this. Paint the big ugly black thing white, and then attach hooks from either side, and then use ribbon or something (maybe a trim instead) so I can hang necklaces and earrings in the cabinet. I have started painting it white (its gonna take a while, and alot of paint) but I'm enjoying it.

I may get some special glittery paint or something to cover it in also, to make it look even more special.

What do people think?

When its finished I shall upload pictures.

Votes, Pleurisy and Darts.

So life has been a bit hectic the last few weeks what with alot happening. The general elections took over my life, because I was panicking about who to vote for, but I think I voted for the right chappie.

Then Sunday the 9th of May I organised and took part in a 12 hour darts marathon. Phew that was hard work. But we raised £114.31 to be split between the Anthony Nolan Trust and the Brodey Centre. I am proud of this effort, and everyone did so so well. But the next day I woke up in a pretty bad way.

I had the worst pain when breathing in, all up around my shoulder, not good. So Friday it was off to the doctors, to be diagnosed with pleurisy, and to be given horsey sized tablets!

Cute Fishy Earrings

Okay I did promise to show you my tute on the fishy earrings. So here we goes..... Im not sure how good that it will actually be because it is my first but fingers and tentacles crossed.

You Need:

2 Wooden Fish Beads

4 Small Blue Glass Beads

2 Medium Dark Blue Glass Beads

A pair of earring Hooks

Wire or Thread

So here you can see the stuff I used. But well half of it, because by this point I had already made one of my earrings and then decided to write a tute :) You obviously don't have to use the exact bits I used on mine. You can use similar items.

Step 1

Take the wire or thread, and thread your fish onto it.

Step 2

Thread one of the small blue beads onto both ends of the thread, so the bead is nestling the fish's face.

Step 3

Then add the dark blue, and the light blue beads in the same way.

Step 4

Then you have to attach the little hooks to the dangly bead bit. I did this by winding the wire round and around the hole in the hook, and then tie it off making sure it will stay on.

So here we have the finished product. It looks so natural looking and the colours really do compliment each other :) Have funnnn x

Annoyed doesn't cut it to be honest :(

Hi Everyone. I'm sorry it's been so long. Anyway heres a short explanation...I was really ill and then I have been busy sorting my life out. I made a cool tute yesterday and was about to upload it when all of a sudden it went. I was not impressed. So I gave up. But it should appear soon :)
